Consignment fees — is 12% actually fair?

Every marketplace takes a cut. TCGCH is 12% on premium. eBay + PayPal eats ~13% AND I do all the packing/shipping myself. Genuinely asking — where's the catch?

The catch is you give up control of pricing timing. But for high-value cards the photography + authentication alone is worth it — buyers pay more when they trust the listing.

No catch 🙂 That 12% covers grading prep, pro photos, listing, packing, shipping, and full insurance. For sub-$50 cards self-listing might pencil out better; above that sellers usually net more even after our fee. Happy to run the numbers on your specific cards!
